Do you think that the different audiences that view dance theatre have an impact on how it is perfor

for example, do you think that there is a difference between an american audience and a european audience and how they perceive and receive dance ?

Do you think that the different audiences that view dance theatre have an impact on how it is performed ?binoculars

No, since dance has no barrier of language, The dancer interprets the themes, emotions and ideas woven in the lyrical/musical content through the movements of the limbs of his/her body and her facial expression. Dancer's body itself becomes an instruments. In dance theaters, it adds rich musical content, choreography to bring out the essence of the theme, costumes, props, lighting and way of presentation to make it more communicative to the audience.

Audience may belong to different region, language, community; a presentation leaves more or less same impact on everybody. It is easy to have an impact on connoisseurs of theater because they have an understanding of the terminology of dance/dance theater, but it is tough to have an impression on a lay man. Success of an production can be counted only on its capability to have an impact on the layman and leave them spell bound.
