Always dress professionally for any job interview. Suit and tie, combed hair, shoes polished.
-Be alert and act like you want the job.
-Be on time (15-20 minutes early).
-Be alert and have a positive attitude
-Do some background research on that particular theater and the industry itself.
-Ask yourself questions that you think they might ask.
-Get the book 'Dress for Success.' I don't know if it is on-line though.
GOOD LUCK!!!

What should i wear for a job interview at the movie theatre?opera house
I went wearing a collared long sleeved shirt and black suit pants and I got the job with Loews but never went to work the following day, got a better job. I still have their clothing (vest and pants lol). Stick to the professional attire and wear leather shoes with dress socks, clean hair cut, nice cologne, and carry a stick of gum, just in case.
What should i wear for a job interview at the movie theatre?dream theater opera theater
i think jeans would be ok, as long as they are kind of baggy (like carpenters) and clean. just wear a nice shirt and decent shoes. i don't reccommend gym shoes. good luck!
This is a response to the guy above me:
Why the hell would you wear a suit and tie to a movie theater interview? Thats a little over the top.
And...arriving 20 minutes early is kinda extreme...5 or 10 minutes early is enough. Or just arrive on time for petes sake!
Always look professional at any job interview, despite what type of job it maybe. Example: Clean white shirt, nice tie, black pants and dress shoes. You can't never go wrong with that.
wear a polo and maybe some dress pants that are kinda tan, kind of like your school picture clothes. good luck! unless the movie theatre's picky they'll pic you =)
hope this helps
clothes
Not jeans even though its a movie theater you should look clean and presentable. A nice pair of pants kakhi in tan or black with a nice polo or button down shirt to match. Good luck
